Full Job Description
Examines mattresses and box springs for defects prior to packaging: Inspects surfaces for puckers, gathers, and irregular corners. Measures length and width of mattress and box spring to ensure conformity with specifications, using tape measure. Cuts loose threads and fabric ends from mattresses meeting standards and removes defective ones from conveyor. May use water on surfaces to shrink puckers, using spray gun.
